ADVENTURE IN EUROBODALLA

You’ll find many outdoor adventures in Eurobodalla, from kayaking along meandering rivers and in coastal lagoons, to boating and fishing, diving and snorkelling, and bushwalking. You’ll also find plenty of tours to Montague Island and other diving hotspots in the marine park, a haven for migrating whales.

Kayaking is an exhilarating experience in Batemans Marine Park, as well as on sparkling lakes and rivers such as Moruya River and Tuross Lake. Join Bay and Beyond Sea Kayak Tours, Total Eco Adventures and Region X on guided kayaking tours. You can spot dolphins frolicking in the pristine waters.

Just north of Broulee is Mossy Point, where you can hire kayaks and paddle to where stingrays feed. South of here enjoy kayaking on Tuross Lake, a seaside gem. In Narooma, hire a kayak from Narooma Marina and explore Wagonga Inlet, a shimmering waterway teeming with marine life.

There are more excellent underwater locations teeming with marine life in Batemans Marine Park, an aquatic wonderland stretching along the Eurobodalla coast. One of the top attractions is diving or snorkelling with fur seals on Montague Island, off the coast of Narooma.

Cycling is a fun way to explore the beautiful coastline in the Eurobodalla region, from Batemans Bay to Narooma. Enjoy both on-road and off-road riding on more than 400km of scenic routes. You’ll visit gorgeous beaches and bays, charming seaside and heritage towns, and magnificent wilderness.

Cyclists and mountain bikers will be thrilled with the wide range of riding experiences. There are shared pathways along tranquil bays and pretty foreshores, as well as on-road touring routes from seaside town to seaside town, quiet hinterland roads, and mountain bike trails in eucalypt forests.

Begin your cycling adventure on the easy Batemans Bay Cycleway, a lovely 18km return journey. There are delightful stops along the way with picnic tables and barbecue facilities, and you can meet owls, emus and koalas at the Birdland Animal Park. Other great two-wheel adventures include:
